I dont think one 15 second click of a couple of mistakes would be an issue. Its not like it would be the first time players are said to have done the wrong thing in the moment.
You’d be surprised. The Canes do have an unofficial rule about only showing the positive on the broadcast. It’s why they don’t do player interviews with those that are a minus in a game (if at all possible). It’s why they don’t really break down defensive mistakes on goals against.
Now I don’t know if it’s a rule coming down from upper, upper management, or if it’s because the producer will occasionally get texts from Waddell or rarely Dundon saying “Hey, drop this topic”, and it’s easier to just avoid situations where you might get those texts in the first place.
