Starting this week is actually an old week, with Chelsea hosting Tottenham in a London derby. Chelsea gets two of those in this thread, as they host the Irons on Sunday, as well. Similarly, Tottenham continues its Big 6 run, taking on Liverpool on Sunday in a match that could formally end the Merseyside campaign for the title. At the same time, a Liverpool win could end Spurs' fight for Champions League. Looking at the top of the table, Saturday is the key day, with Arsenal having an early kickoff against Bournemouth. Assuming a Gunner victory, Arsenal fans will suddenly feel quite Portuguese, cheering for Wolves to pick up points against Man City later in the day. At the bottom of the table, a relegated Sheffield United will have the chance to drag Nottingham down with them. Nottingham will know whether they need a win to stay out of the relegation zone depending on what Luton does against Everton on Friday. Meanwhile, Burnley will host Newcastle hoping for a win to drag themselves out of the relegation zone as well. Regardless, the relegation picture will be much clearer after the first big slate of Saturday matches.

Champions League Spots (4)
1. Arsenal - 80 (Confirmed)
2. Man City - 79 (Confirmed)
3. Liverpool - 75 (Confirmed)
4. Aston Villa - 67 (Magic Number: 6)
5. Tottenham Hotspur - 60 (Magic Number: 17)

Europa League Spots (1-2)
5. Tottenham Hotspur - 60 (Magic Number: 7)
6. Man United - 54 (Magic Number: 12)
7. Newcastle United - 53
8. Chelsea - 51
9. West Ham United - 49
10. Bournemouth - 48
11. Wolverhampton - 46
12. Brighton - 44

I think this is everyone that is in contention. 6th place will be Europa League if Man City wins the FA Cup or If United finishes 5th. 7th place will be Europa Conference League unless Man U wins the FA Cup and finishes 7th or worse.

Relegation
17. Nottingham Forest - 26 (Magic Number: 9)
18. Luton Town - 25
19. Burnley - 24
20. Sheffield United - 16 (Confirmed)

Is Spurs number a mistake or how is that calculated? As they have 5 matches left, so max 15 pts more.

Magic number for Spurs CL should be the 15 Spurs could earn max + the 2 Villa would need to drop to guarantee they'd finish below that (or combination of that), so 17.

Not sure about Tottenham vs Villa, but Tottenham vs LFC is technically right because in order to jump LFC, LFC would need to lose out (they might). Tottenham would need to win out (meh) and there would need to be a goal difference swing of 27

Relegation numbers (i.e. If they drop + other teams earns this number of points, they're relegated. Only one of the two would need to happen to get relegated)

Sheffield - 0 - Already relegated
Burnley - 8 vs Nottingham Forest OR 9 vs Luton
Luton - 9 vs Nottingham Forest OR 11 vs Burnley
Forest - 11 vs Luton OR 12 vs Burnley

Nottingham's safety magic number is 9

Burnley vs Notttingham final MD encounter could be a survival match, if neither team can achieve any further separation.

Forest's best chance to do that is probably Saturday's match in Sheffield.

Maddison benched. Can't say he doesn't deserve it as of late.

16 y/o Mikey Moore on the bench. Immense talent.

Yes, Casadei and Washington the only ones who have even a bit of PL experience. Maybe's it's time to allow bigger squads like 30 players for PL clubs.

Cole Palmer with the miss of the season

Spurs defense keeps being for the lulz, and Maddison on the bench is disgusting.

Chelsea's bench is disgustingly thin for a team that spent this much money.
Who wins:

Petrovic
Gilchrist - Chalobah - Badiashile - Cucurella
Caicedo - Gallagher
Madueke - Palmer - Mudryk
Jackson

OR

Nkunku
Sterling - Chukwuemeka - Gusto
Enzo - Lavia
Chilwell - Colwill - Silva - James
Sanchez

Gilchrist just couldn't keep his knee over it.

Tottenham looking vulnerable.
gilchrist got caught up in the "chelsea born smashing it in against spurs" when he should've smacked it into cole palmer

"i like him in those one-on-ones, noni madueke"

yes me too, but that's the only time i like him LMAO
