Kings just have no identity offensively. Reminds me of Nashville in the late 2000s when Trotz was the coach and they lost in the first round every year. Kempe and Fiala aren’t players you build an offense around.

Media really about to fall on the sword for the Kings getting boned by the officials, which while partially true is still hysterical. Benefit of the whistle favors Edmonton tonight for sure, but they’re only killing half the penalties and other than Game 4 are getting mounted in every situation

They need to cut bait and start a real rebuild. Build around Byfield and Clarke. Stop giving your aging vets another kick at the can. They already won two with your franchise, if they want another let them go chase one.

still think the oilers win the series, but its not going to be as easy as everyone thinks. wouldn't be surprised if it goes 7

they're not even getting to the finals with skinner in net

Narrator: it was, in fact, as easy as everyone thought.

Also nice to see the Kings have gone incrementally worse every year since the COVID stretch and needlessly blowing up their rebuild:

2022-out in 7
2023- out in 6
2024- out in 5.

Out of playoffs and gloriously chained to mediocrity in 2026 upcoming

kings really made all those moves just to keep losing in the first round

and now that they're stuck with dubois, their future isn't looking great at all

And next year byfield will hit a wall. Kopitar and dougghty will be a year older.

Looking forward to the Oilers sweeping the Kings next year round 1

Watch Toronto push out to game 7 without Matthews, he comes back and they get blown out with him being a huge negative

PL DuFraud going to get bought out by LA before he even starts his contract? Imagine doing so poorly that they pay you $20m to go away.

Hahaha. Boston is going to replace Toronto as playoff chokers. Although I think they will win game 7.

The Panthers will kill them next round.
